WI-FI will be available in all areas of the CCIB used for the congress on all congress days free of charge.
The official languages in Barcelona are Spanish and Catalan. The official language of the Congress is English. Simultaneous translation will not be provided.
The official currency in Spain is EUR. Banks and currency exchange offices are located around the city, and ATMs are found in various places throughout Barcelona, including the train stations and airport.
The venue is a designated non-smoking premise.
Coffee and lunches are included in the registration fee and will be served daily.
An application will be made to the UEMSEACCME ® for CME accreditation of this Meeting. Please visit the Congress website for more information. Information and instructions on how to receive your CME credits will be included in the Final Programme and will be online closer to the event.
Barcelona is located on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea with a warm, welcoming climate and pleasant temperatures all year round. Barcelona’s climate is generally moderate and mild. Average spring temperatures range from 17°C to 25°C.

Certificate of Attendance
Participants will receive a certificate of attendance at the Congress.
Accommodation options will be published on the Congress website and in further announcements.
Participants and accompanying persons are obliged to wear the official Congress name badges on all Congress occasions.
Access to the exhibition is free for registered participants. The exhibition will be open on 7 - 11 October 2017 during the congress hours.
A parking area will be available at the CCIB Congress Centre.
First Aid room will be available at the venue.
Travel Insurance / Liability
The congress organizers cannot accept liability for personal injuries sustained, or for loss or damage of property belonging to congress participants, either during, or as a result of the meeting. All delegates are advised to ensure they have their own travel insurance.
Letter of Invitation
Upon request, the Chairman of the Local Organising Committee will be pleased to send a personal letter of invitation so as to enable participants to obtain supporting funds or visas for attending the Congress. These invitation letters cannot be considered an offer of financial support by the organizers.
Visa regulations depend on your nationality and country of origin. For the most updated information regarding visa requirements, we do suggest that participants consult the Spanish embassy or consulate in their home country or via a travel agency for specific details relating to visa requirements.
